General Manager, Mission

About Mission:
Mission will be Europe’s biggest and most innovative yoga and movement space, a place for people to reconnect and reset their mental and physical well-being in a post-Covid world.  Opening in the Autumn of 2022 in Shoreditch, Mission will be the exclusive home to London’s top yoga and movement teachers – a diverse, dynamic space that offers practices both traditional (Rocket, Vinyasa, Iyengar Yoga) and new (calisthenics, handstands, strength training.) This stunning 14,000 square foot newly renovated warehouse will have five studios, three treatment rooms, a ground floor café and top floor restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the City.

About the Role:
We are looking for a charismatic general manager deliver the highest level of customer experience and oversee daily operations to shape a welcoming, memorable inclusive culture. You will hold many responsibilities from supervision of the front of house team (rotas, payroll,) to the management of external contractors (procurement of goods and services.) You will ensure all legal and company HR regulations are followed to safeguard the team, and coordinate with the restaurant to ensure a cohesive experience for all clients whether yoga student or restaurant diner. This role requires a high level of customer interaction, done with courtesy and genuine care.

What we are looking for:
The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a busy environment and passionate about serving clients to the highest standard in the hospitality/wellness industry. You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar management role, a strong track record in London hospitality/wellness, a proven ability delivering KPIs, proficiency in computer software, and a knowledge of rota and people management software. You will encourage your team to focus on revenue growth through up-selling and cross-selling. You must embody our values of service, of equity, of good health, of kindness and hard work. No job is too big or too small, whether sweeping a studio floor between classes, or reviewing budgets and spotting opportunities to create efficiencies.
