Assistant Restaurant Manager, Cin Cin

Job Description

Work side by side with our founders David & Jamie and help drive management of FOH operations at our London site, making sure the food & service we deliver is of the highest quality. We are looking for a team leader with some bar experience who wants to develop into a more senior role with us at Cin Cin in Fitzrovia, London.

A tight and regularly changing food & drink menu with seasonal small plates, fresh handmade pastas, Italian mains and desserts so lots of variation and areas to help bring the brand to life.

You will help set the bar and maintain our drive for high standards of staff knowledge on menu – both food and drinks, providence, supplier information and techniques through on-boarding and training of FOH staff.

Train, mentor and develop our FOH team members to help them contribute to the running of the restaurant, while also getting support from our energetic Restaurant Manager.

Help motivate the team in a professional and positive way, in line with Cin Cin’s brand values and culture as created by our founders since 2016.

Job requirements

• We are looking for a leader but also a team player – someone who is able to problem solve the challenges of running a busy restaurant so that the experience is enjoyable, warm and calm for staff and customers.
• You have worked and succeeded in a fast paced, high quality environment with a minimum of 2 years experience in a management role and have a strong understanding of the financial side of running a profitable restaurant.
• You also have some bar experience and a passion for aperitivi, wines and spritzes.
• You have strong people skills and want nothing but the best dining experience for your customers.
• You are excellent at communicating not only what is required but why. You have a proven track record in developing and growing a team.
• Experience with Italian food and drinks would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
• Most importantly we are looking for someone with a real passion for food, service and hospitality, and a love of giving customers the best experience possible.
• You are passionate about wine – even if your Italian wine knowledge is minimal, we can train and support you if you have the drive to learn.
• You are extremely clean and well organised, motivated, friendly and approachable even under pressure. You want to grow with our business and be a long-term member of our team.
