Sam’s Riverside – Critically acclaimed Modern British Restaurant & Bar on the Hammersmith Riverside overlooking Hammersmith Bridge, the restaurant has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2019 (despite Covid) and we are looking for vibrant, experienced Waiters, Runners & Commis Waiters to join our amazing family this summer.

Sam’s Riverside has recently been awarded by The Caterer as this year’s 11th best place to work in Hospitality in UK!

To work with us, experience in busy restaurants is essential. We host 150-200 guests per service which increases during the Holidays thanks to the Riverside location and our beautiful terrace. As front of house you will have exceptional customer service skills. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working in a fast paced restaurant with a focused team.

You will need to demonstrate a stable background working in a busy, high end restaurant and or bar. Passion & enthusiasm is essential.

Key Responsibilities for Waiters & Runners

• Running a section, taking orders, following a set of service rules.
• Delivering a memorable experience to customers, being the first point of contact for the customer experience.
• Maintaining high company standards throughout the service, following the management instructions.
• Confidently talk about our drinks & food and pass that along to our customers.
• Delivering food using big trays or by hand directly to the guests.
• Supporting the FOH team by restocking fridges and waiter stations.
• Confidently manage the kitchen pass by ensuring that all tickets are correct and all food is delivered to the right table.
• Polishing plates, cutlery and glasses.
• Customer Focus

Other jobs/tasks/responsibilities will be allocated on a per shift, day & week basis but these will run secondary to
Ensuring customers have a memorable experience based around a set of service standards
Expertise

Previous experience in a service environment is crucial; especially in high volume brasserie style restaurants.
Fine Dining would also be advantageous as we are developing a quality driven dining experience.
