General Manager, Lyon's Seafood & Wine Bar

We are looking for someone who loves food, loves wine, loves working with people and who can foster and create a positive, professional and nurturing working environment where people are genuinely cared for and looked after. You will be a natural leader that understands that discipline and standards doesn’t need to be militant, but rather just a way of working – casual excellence we like to call it. 
Good wine knowledge is preferable and also a good understanding bar and cocktail culture. 
We are not a fine dinning restaurant but we are also not casual, we offer warm friendly and attentive service that focuses on the details.
The role requires someone that is financially astute, and you will have experience with doing payroll, beverage stocks and GP’s, P&L 
The role will also entail working closely with our head chef, doing regular tastings, trainings, and creating a happy working culture

7 shifts a week and on average about 45 hours a week (we are closed Sunday and Monday so it will most likely be a set rota)

We close for at least a week over Christmas so people can be with their loved ones.
