We are recruiting a Pastry Chef to join the Oxeye and Bar Rex team at our brand new restaurant in the ever growing hub of Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms. The closest stations are the new Nine Elms station on the northern line and Vauxhall.

 

Restaurant open Wednesday to Saturday

from £30,000 – £32,000 per year (depending on role and experience).

48 hours per week contract, generally with 3 days off per week (Sun,Mon & Tues).

Oxeye was founded by Sven-Hanson Britt, MasterChef the Professionals, The Rematch Champion in 2018. This new site in Embassy Gardens is his first venture and restaurant bringing Oxeye to life.

The food and style plays homage to the ingredients that are grown at their sourcing farms in Derbyshire, as well as across the rest of the UK. This tasting menu only, 6 table restaurant has been created to showcase some of the best ingredients across the globe, and particularly the world class produce we have here in the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE

· Working directly with Sven and his head chef to create the tasting menu at Oxeye and the bar menu at Bar Rex as well as any private events and dinners in the gallery spaces.

· Maintaining high standards of Food and Health & Safety standards at all times

 

ABOUT YOU

· Previous Chef experience is essential

· Creative individual who has a deep passion for delicious food

· Ability to work in close partnership with the wider team to deliver the best results

· Clean background to comply with the client’s on-boarding requirements
