About the role:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Reservations Agent to join our team where you will be the first point of call and you will naturally engage with all callers and provide a great first impression.

Working closely with the Director of Revenue to maximise rooms revenue for both transient and group segments, the successful candidate will show a willingness to learn and continue to develop the role. A flexible approach and good time management skills will be required. At all times you must demonstrate high energy levels and provide consistently high levels of customer service both internally & externally. It is imperative that you understand exactly what it means to deliver a 5-star service and “Make Someone’s Day!” You will naturally engage with our guests, consistently providing a high-end guest service- always aiming to achieve 100% guest satisfaction!

You will be required to:

* Ensure that all room reservation enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner

* Assist day to day with F&B reservations via email, phone and online booking platform

* Be the first point of contact with guests, and deliver the friendly yet professional service to which The Hari guests have become accustomed too

* Maximise revenue by upselling and cross selling

* Check availability on a regular basis and be aware of competitor selling status.

* Show good attention to detail, particularly when checking correspondents and arrivals

* Demonstrate great product knowledge and a basic understanding of the local area

* Build relationships with agents, clients and partners to help generate new enquiries

* Work alongside the Sales Team with corporate enquiries, inputting group blocks, rooming lists and invoicing
