We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the opening team at Ibēros – a new counter-style restaurant from the team behind Dylans at the Kings Arms. Inspired by the lively tabernas of Spain and Portugal, Ibēros celebrates the Iberian Peninsula’s rich food and drink culture with seasonal, ingredient-led dishes and a carefully curated wine list.

Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a restaurant kitchen environment.

-Strong understanding of culinary techniques and principles.

-Excellent organizational and time management skills.

-The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

-Passion for food and a commitment to continuous learning.

– A love for researching, developing and creating new dishes

– An appetite to learn and grow within the role and the company

Responsibilities:

-Assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.

-Maintain the highest standards for quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

-Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.

-Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
