Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Account Manager or Executive with strategic experience to join our London based team. Reporting to the Brands Director this role will require delivery of editorial results across consumer food and drink media, influencer marketing, and advocacy development. The role will also require creativity, excellent knowledge of trends, as well as proven strategic, planning and creative skills. Working across our existing brands portfolio as well as new launches planned for 2021 and beyond.

– To secure a minimum of three pieces of press coverage, per client, per month

– To carry out three tangible pieces of marketing per client, per month; or, if not appropriate, supplement with two further pieces of press coverage

– To call clients at least twice a week and update them

– To meet clients twice a month

– To ensure that press coverage and other items are sent to a client in a timely manner

– To ensure each client receives sufficient time and attention to achieve the required results, as set out from time to time by the Director

– To develop and maintain good client relations at all times

– To write good quality and grammatically correct press releases

– To develop and maintain press contacts through frequent communication and face-to-face (when appropriate) meetings

– To have regular meetings with media contacts every week

– To research forthcoming features by regular proactive contact with the media

– To meet regularly with your Account Director to plan strategy, discuss opportunities, and relay achievements

– To meet regularly with your respective account executive and/ or intern to plan, implement, and monitor internal and external activity

– To ensure that your respective account executive and/ or intern discharges their duties in a responsible, timely and professional manner

– To attain and maintain the requisite IT skills to efficiently utilise the company’s office hardware and software packages

The Ideal Candidate:

– Worked as Account Executive or Account Manager level in a PR & Communications agency or in house (2 years minimum)

– Strong experience with the day to day running of accounts and proven track record of successful campaigns

– Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

– A strong network of journalist and industry contacts

– Have a commercial eye and an interest in pursuing new business opportunities
