Account Manager, Fraser Communications

Fraser Communications is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their growing team.  If successful in your application, you will be joining a group of passionate individuals, specialising in promoting, developing and protecting restaurants, chefs and food brands.

We are looking for a hard-working applicant who is knowledgeable in the restaurant and food scene and will take the lead on strategy and implementation for a broad client base, including high-profile restaurants and food brands.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary relationships with lifestyle media; have proven experience leading and developing a team as well as strong commercial instincts, communication and copywriting skills.

Some of your duties:

• Oversees photo shoots and interviews
• Demonstrates good relationships with mid-level and some VIP media
• Strives to better their black book
• Attends and contributes to client meetings
• Assists Account Director with planning and strategy
• Trains and manages the SAEs and AEs
• Press release and copy writing
• Builds strong relationships with clients
• Remains up to date and abreast of restaurant and chef news and the media
• Entertains press at least 3 times per week
• Attends press nights and events
• Consistently delivers news coverage and features across all accounts
• Successfully uses and has a sound knowledge of social media
• Checks media – newspapers/ magazines/ newsletters/ blogs etc
