Assistant Floor Manager, London Stock
London Stock is a fine dining restaurant with a twist – where elegant & modern British fine dining meets innovative Asian cooking techniques. The first restaurant from three talented friends who wanted to bring their passion and expertise together to create a new style of modern fine dining to the heart of Wandsworth. Led by Le Cordon Bleu-trained Assem Abdel Hady, the team have a strong pedigree, including experience at two Michelin-starred restaurants Umu and Dinner by Heston and one-starred restaurants Nobu, Pollen Street, and Hind’s Head. Set within Wandsworth’s latest residential and retail development, The Ram Quarter, the restaurant will be located within Bubbling Well Square of the restored Young’s brewery heritage site.
Open 7 days a week, the menu will consist of carefully sourced ingredients that extend to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gastronomes can choose to dine in the main restaurant or at the intimate Chef’s Table, sampling the seasonally changing menu which includes highlights such as fresh oysters, venison wellington and monkfish shijo koji.
Assist the General Manager with duties pertaining to both the dining room and the bar area. Responsibilities will extend to meeting and greeting guests, drinks service and other general Front of House duties.
The Ideal Candidate:
Would have bartending and wait staff experience. Some managerial experience would be favourable but not essential. As a new venture, the ideal candidate would also be someone willing to learn on the job and adapt to the developing environment of the restaurant.
