    About MOI
MOI, the first in a series of innovative restaurants from the Login family, is a
collaboration between a father-and-son duo celebrated for establishing the globally
renowned patisseries, L’ETO. With a focus on seasonal ingredients, authentic interiors,
and unparalleled hospitality, MOI sets the stage for a fresh wave of culinary excellence
in London’s vibrant and dynamic food scene. This marks the beginning of a new chapter
for the Login family, bringing their signature warmth and artistry to the city’s dining
    landscape.
MOI is a Japanese restaurant in Soho, offering an inventive fusion of Japanese flavours
with a modern, elevated twist. The eclectic team at MOI brings together a range of
culinary expertise, each skilfully showcased in every dish.
Led by the Executive Chef Andy Cook the kitchen embraces Japanese cuisine as a
canvas, highlighting peak-season ingredients and global influences to create dishes
that are both complex and inviting. Specialising in meats and whole fish cooked over
charcoal, MOI brings a smoky depth to its offerings, enhancing flavours with a
    signature, refined touch.
The food is complemented by an eclectic range of exciting, uniquely chosen, premium
yet approachable wine, with a focus on natural and biodynamic; a craft beer collab and
a signature cocktail menu with emphasis on agave spirits, sake and accented by the
same Asian influences as the food.
Named with a nod to Soho’s vibrant culture, MOI, literally translated as a ‘bowl’,
presents a Neo-Japanese dining experience in a relaxed, stylish space where guests
can savour the atmosphere as much as the food for patrons to see and be seen.

    Role Overview
We are looking for a Reservations and Events Manager to oversee and enhance our
guest booking experience while coordinating exceptional private and special events. In
this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring seamless
reservations and memorable events that embody MOI’s vision and standards.
As a key part of the team, you will manage the reservation system, liaise with clients,
and collaborate with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure all events and
bookings are delivered with precision and excellence.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the reservation system to maximise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate records of bookings and manage table allocations to optimise covers while maintaining exceptional service standards.
    • Communicate with guests to confirm and personalise bookings, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
    • Plan, coordinate, and deliver private dining and special events in line with client requirements and MOI’s vision.
    • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure all event details are executed flawlessly.
    • Work closely with the front-of-house, kitchen, and beverage teams to deliver seamless events and bespoke experiences.
    • Act as a point of contact for guest enquiries, providing tailored recommendations and guidance.
    • Handle complaints and resolve issues promptly, maintaining MOI’s reputation for excellence.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
    • Monitor and report on booking trends, using data to optimise availability and revenue.
    • Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are met for events.
    • Keep the reservations and events database up to date, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Train and support the team in delivering high-quality service for reservations and events.
    • Work closely with the General Manager to align reservations and events with broader operational goals.

    What We’re Looking For
    • At least 3 years in a similar role managing reservations and events, ideally in a high-end or fine-dining restaurant.
    • Proven success in coordinating bespoke events and managing booking systems.
    • Strong knowledge of reservation platforms and event management tools.
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and the team.
    • Financial awareness, with experience in cost management and revenue optimisation.
    • Warm, approachable, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
    • Solution-focused and calm under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
    • A proactive and creative thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment.

    What We Offer
    • Competitive Salary (dependent on experience).
    • Performance-based incentives.
    • Pension Scheme.
    • 50% staff dining discount across the Login family’s establishments.
    • Opportunities for professional development and growth within an expanding restaurant group.
    • Wellness and healthcare perks and access to mental health resources.

    Work Schedule
    • 5-days work week, including weekends and evenings, 45 hours circa (flexibility
required to oversee operations during peak hours and special events)

At MOI, we are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We provide an expanding organisation with ample opportunities for both personal and
professional growth. Whether it’s relocating abroad, transferring to a different
department, or engaging in continuous research and development, we support our
    team’s advancement.
We encourage team development, training with renowned experts, and fostering a
culture of pride and a hunger for knowledge.
We aim for our senior management to be strong leaders who can build, guide, and
    inspire.
As we assemble our team for this exciting new chapter, we look forward to meeting you.
