General Manager, Sidechick

We’re looking for an outgoing General Manager, who has a genuine passion for food and hospitality, to lead the team at our James Street restaurant.

Sidechick is the first restaurant of the brand, from the group behind Patty&Bun.

With a bright, welcoming dining room upstairs, private dining downstairs and a talented, friendly team, we are establishing ourselves amongst James Streets vibrant dining scene. The menu is small and simple with an emphasis on quality and flavour – focused on juicy roast chicken, seasonal vegetables and salads, alongside natural wines and great cocktails.

You’ll be responsible for providing a warm and genuine welcome to our guests, delivering an exceptional standard of service and memorable customer experience, and you will continually lead and inspire the front of house team to do the same.

As well as maintaining systems, procedures, and best practises, you will also support the Head Chef in driving sales, managing stock and influencing a profitable GP.

You’ll bring a positive energy to the team, and instil a sense of fun to the restaurant, while building a strong team work ethic.

Previous managerial experience in a premium casual dining is required.
