Knife and Fork Media is a London-based hospitality media business that owns CODE Hospitality and The Good Food Guide.
CODE Hospitality (CODE) is a digital membership platform for hospitality people in the UK. CODE members get up to 50% off in over 400 of the best restaurants, bars & hotels, along with additional perks, editorial and events. We have a network of more than 50,000 people working in and with hospitality. We endeavour to champion the industry in everything we do.
The Good Food Guide (GFG) is a consumer-facing publication, founded in 1951. The Guide reviews the best restaurants, pubs and cafés across Great Britain combining a network of reader feedback with anonymous expert inspections. We relaunched the Guide as part of a new digital subscription, The Good Food Guide Club, in June 2022.
THE ROLE
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A relevant marketing qualification, 1-3 years work experience
- Able to work proactively in a busy environment, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
- Good understanding of and experience in multi-channel marketing (digital & offline)
- Analytical and able to learn new processes and tech platforms including WordPress, Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Canva, Google Analytics, G-Suite, CRM tools and more.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of our brands and the hospitality sector
- Experience in subscription marketing a plus
KEY TASKS
- Support with day-to-day marketing executions and tasks as laid out in the annual marketing plan
- Coordinate content and information gathering required for all key project milestones
- Work closely with the Editorial, Partners and Membership teams to ensure close-knit integration of all marketing channels and content
- Implement channel updates to drive qualified member acquisition, engagement and referral (email, website, social, paid)
- Analyse, track, and report on monthly marketing ROI based on predetermined KPIs, targets
- Regularly collect and analyse data from internal teams, website activity, channel engagement
- Support with market research, making recommendations and optimisations to enhance performance
KEY INFORMATION
Contract: Permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Office based (Soho, London) with option to work from home up to two days per week
Salary: £27-32K, depending on experience
