About Us:

Corbin & King’s Head Office is located above The Wolseley on Piccadilly. It comprises The Director’s office alongside Personnel & Development, Recruitment, Finance, Purchasing, Marketing, Reservations and The Wolseley Retail teams.

Job Description:

  • Create a customer-focused communications plan, in line with the overarching marketing strategy for each restaurant
  • Write, proof, send and report on all guest facing newsletters. Work with the founders to accurately portray their tone of voice
  • Write and create monthly blog posts for our larger restaurants that are optimised for search
  • Develop and own the Social Media strategy across the Corbin & King portfolio to increase brand awareness, elevate our brand positioning, drive online bookings, and drive footfall to our restaurants
  • Write and schedule all social content and execute community engagement across all social media channels on a day-to-day basis
  • Proactively respond to customer requests on social media
  • Work with our Digital Marketing Manager on all paid social media promotions to create engaging copy and content
  • Work with our Head of PR and Senior Marketing Manager to secure coverage with influencers to grow our following and reach
  • Produce regular reports to summarise performance, alongside recommendations to improve our following, engagement and conversion
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager on our new CRM system to ensure that all guest communications have a consolidated strategy, analyse and report on KPI’s and make recommendations for change as necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent copy writing skills, in particular for newsletters, web and blogs
  • Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and all associated techniques and tools to aid this
  • Outstanding organisation and time management
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A commercial thinker, ability to analyse data and make smart recommendations to benefit the business
  • Great awareness of the industry and London scene, can identify key trends and opportunities, up to date with new restaurant, bar and hotel openings as well as cultural events such as film, fashion, music, art, theatre and design
  • A team player with a passion for hospitality who is driven and motivated
