General Manager, Vietnamese Kitchen

A well-established Vietnamese restaurant group with venues across London. Awarded the best pho in London by Time Out Magazine our sites specialise in both authentic Vietnamese cooking as well as Saigon Street food which is served up by our delis across the capital.

With 6 venues in total our main goal is to bring you the best in Vietnamese cooking using fresh local produce and authentic cooking techniques and recipes.

Our London venues are fast paced & buzzing, bringing the authenticity of Vietnam to London.

We are now looking for 2 GMs to join both our Soho W1D 4PZ & Shoreditch EC1V 9LA venues. These positions will be perfect for those looking for a new challenge, bringing in lots of new ideas to our restaurants and ready to hit the ground running!

Job Description:

Located in both Central & East London, our restaurants are seeking hard-working & passionate General Managers.

You will lead the day to day operations of the restaurant & will be responsible for directing the overall front of house operations.

This will include staff management, financial performance and physical restaurant maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the service of both food and drink and over-looking the due diligence in the kitchen.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

-3 years General Manager Experience

-Ability to control wage costs, manage P&L and review rotas accordingly

-Willingness to lead the team by example

-Experience in training staff as well as implementing disciplinary procedures

-Effective communication skills

-A self-motivator, who can recognise and anticipate customers’ needs before they arise.

-Good knowledge of or experience in Asian cuisine and culture is a bonus!

-Knowledge of Food Alert due diligence procedures also a bonus!
