LARDO restaurant – The East end Institution is looking for a new leader! 

We are searching for a talented GENERAL MANAGER to join our team & lead our thriving restaurant in Hackney, East London.

This role is for truly gifted & experienced GENERAL MANAGER who will come with a depth of  knowledge of the industry and restaurant operations.

It is essential that you are able to demonstrate that you can lead from the front and drive the business both financially and operationally.

You will display high energy levels to deliver exceptional service, and a calm and controlled air of confidence on the floor. This mixed with a proven track record of successful & stable career progression, you will want to make an impact for good in a restaurant of great reputation and well loved within its community.

You will be a strong multi-tasker and highly organised individual, who ensures that all processes are followed and delivers on targets.

You will need to live within a commutable distance of East London & already live in the UK.

General Manager responsibilities include: 

• HR, training and development
  Payroll
• Shift management
• Organisation and implementation of operational processes and procedures
• Wine knowledge
• Leading a team of up to 35

You must have:

• At least 5 years experience in a professionally run restaurant
• Strong empathetic leadership skills
• Be a strategic thinker
• Passion for this amazing industry
• Enjoy people and challenges
