The Lord Poulett Arms (part of the Beckford Group) are seeking a driven Sous Chef to support and help lead our brigade. This beautiful and stylish pub with rooms, has a solid reputation for fantastic food made with the best of local produce – fish landed daily on the south coast (35 minutes away) and meat and game from local farms.

Tucked away in the picturesque village of Hinton St George, the pub has become the centre of many activities in this supportive and vibrant village.

This is an opportunity for a Junior Sous or Sous to progress their career at a well reviewed pub (The Telegraph & The Guardian) and is the perfect opportunity to grow within a successful, friendly & independent hospitality group, supporting the Head Chef to develop a seasonal menu in partnership with local suppliers.

As a Beckford Sous Chef you will not only be part of the local community but also our growing portfolio of pubs, inns and restaurants – with new openings planned in the immediate future. You’ll also have the support network of other Chefs within the group.
