Senior Sous Chef, Trullo Restaurant

The Restaurant:

Celebrating its 12th year, Trullo is an established neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Islington. Fresh hand-made pasta and our charcoal grill are the counterpoints of the menu at Trullo; allowing us to create Italian inspired dishes using the best produce the UK and Europe have to offer.  

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team! You will have just as much passion in looking after our people as well as the produce we use.

Responsibilities include:

–          Health and safety involved in the running of the kitchen

–          Ordering, stock count and cost of sales

–          Understanding of our menu, cooking techniques & provenance

–          Monitoring of food quality & customer feedback

–          Recruitment & training of the team

–          Assisting in menu changes according to the British & European food calendar
