Junior Sous Chef, Leroy
Leroy in a 50 cover wine bar and restaurant in Shoreditch from Sommeliers Ed Thaw, Jack Lewens and Chef Sam Kamienko, the team behind Michelin-starred Ellory. Opened shortly after Ellory closed in March of 2018 Leroy was awarded a Michelin star in the 2019 Michelin guide which it still retains today. Our food is Ingredient-led with a base in classical techniques. No tweezers. No water baths. Plenty of butter.
As Junior sous chef, you will work closely with the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef and hold a key role in the day to day operation and leadership of Leroy.
You will be passionate about working with the finest, freshest ingredients and in delivering quality dishes and products. You will take an organised approach to your role and prioritise effectively to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, sharing your knowledge and supporting in the training and development of the more junior chefs in the brigade.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional team player with excellent communication skills and have a key focus on detail to deliver outstanding quality and service within a busy Michelin-starred kitchen. With this in mind, you will have experience ideally at a similar level within a quality dining environment and have proven kitchen experience.
