Our kitchen is creative, inclusive, and forward-thinking — and we’re looking for a Head Chef who shares our passion for exceptional food and conscious dining.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Design and execute seasonal menus that reflect our values: local, sustainable, and produce-led.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen awareness.
  • Manage stock levels, suppliers, and ordering in line with budget targets and waste reduction.
  • Ensure accurate costings, portion control, and profit margins.
  • Train and develop junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and ownership on events, specials, and long-term planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a quality-focused kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of seasonal British produce and contemporary cuisine.
  • Passion for sustainability, ethical sourcing, and minimising food waste.
  • Confident leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage stock, budgets, and deadlines.
  • A calm, positive presence under pressure with a genuine love for cooking and hospitality.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience + service charge, tips & bonus
  • A 4-day working week with Sundays and Mondays off
  • Creative freedom to shape the menu and kitchen culture.
  • Opportunities for progression, training, and involvement in wider business strategy.
  • Staff discounts, meals on shift, and a supportive, values-led working environment.
