About us

Lupins was opened in 2017 by chefs Lucy Pedder and Natasha Cooke. Since then it has become a favourite with locals and tourists, and achieved critical success. Set in the heart of London Bridge, Lupins offers small plate dining with seasonal British ingredients through a global lense.

Lupins has 28 covers in the casual dining room and a further 14 bar seats. It is a small, friendly team with a real sense of family.

The Restaurant Manager

Lupins is recruiting for both a front of house manager and a chef to join our team as we reopen. The manager will be responsible for training, managing and motivating staff. They will respond to customer queries and complaints, meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices. They will also be involved in selecting and ordering wine with potential to train and complete WSET exams. The ideal candidate will have worked as a manager at a small and busy restaurant, or as an assistant manager who is looking to step up into a more senior position. They will report to the owner and receive hands on help as required.

The Chef

The kitchen at Lupins is looking to expand the team with a chef de partie and senior chef de partie/sous chef. The kitchen at Lupins is open and allows for a bright and airy work space. You will work alongside the head chef to create beautiful seasonal small plates. There is ample opportunity to learn on the job and encouragement to experiment and try new dishes on the regularly changing menu. It is a small and friendly team and there is great communication between the kitchen and front of house. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a very high level of food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual but the food is always carefully thought out and we are proud to have a following of loyal customers. Attention to detail, excellent hygiene and presentation are crucial in this role. We are looking for chefs of all levels so please do contact us if you think this could be a good fit for you!
