We are looking for someone to oversee and manage our bar and drinks offering, with a strong willingness to learn and a keen interest in food. Someone with excellent customer service skills and experience of managing a small team.

We make everything we can in house and have an extensive wine cellar. We focus on low intervention and small producers and would love to have someone with experience of wine and managing a cellar, this can be also be taught in house. Someone who can join us in training our team and help us provide an encouraging and enthusiastic environment.

The Clarence Tavern is a busy gastro pub in Stoke Newington, with a lovely private room for events and a popular garden.

The role would suit someone looking for their next step in their career in a supportive, ambitious environment. A chance to learn through access to a vast cellar of rare and beautiful wines. Continuous tastings with top producers and importers weekly. Also an opportunity to put their stamp on a great bar and create cocktails from scratch, liaising with chefs for seasonal ingredients for drinks.
