About Us:

Pump Street opened as a bakery in 2010 in the village of Orford, Suffolk. It was founded by father and daughter team Chris and Joanna Brennan. We continue to be a bakery and café in the village and have also significantly expanded our chocolate business which continues to be focused on making the best quality single farm craft chocolate, all made from the bean to the bar by us at our premises at Bentwaters Parks, Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Job Description:

Pump Street Chocolate is seeking an experienced National or Wholesale Accounts Manager to work to maintain our relationships with our Retail, Restaurant and Coffee Shop customers and to grow our sales within these sectors.

This role would be based in our London office alongside our Executive Director and our Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator but would also involve spending the majority of the week out of the office with customers and at events (in the foreseeable when Covid allows).

Reporting to the Executive Director and working in partnership with the management team, responsibilities will include; setting sales targets, monitoring results, sharing analyses and projections; responding to incoming enquiries; maintaining relationships with existing customers; working with prospects.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is excited to delve into the world of chocolate and wants to represent a business that both acts with integrity and is willing to break the mould in order to provide the best quality. Other important skills/education include at least two years of experience in sales, preferably in Food and/or Retail, knowledge of the UK food scene, experience of sales growth or seizing strategic business wins within a small company. The ideal candidate will be confident, commercially-savvy, and highly practical, and happy to make regular trips to Suffolk and around the UK.
