Inspired by founder Victoria Paltina’s visits to the city of Tel Aviv, HAYA is born of the lively, spirited culture she found there and focuses on simple Mediterranean sharing plates and nutritious, seasonal ingredients.
Job Description:
Managing the kitchen staff, including setting the rota, and stock count, ordering, controlling stock. Leading a team of chefs in cooking and preparing meals, including checking food quality and overseeing cooking techniques.
The Ideal Candidate:
Must have strong dedication to his profession and be team player. Be able work in small team , great communication skills both for BOH and FOH.
Must have proven working record with positive YES can DO Attitude . Sous Chef are those that assist and inspire all chefs, above and below themselves. They are at the very heart of the team and have an abundance of both passion and patience. A brilliant Sous Chef is worth their weight in gold and runs all section meticulously, whilst offering guidance, support and advice to all team members; the very personification of a team player. If however, you are a narcissist with a penchant for cooking whilst hammered on gin and believe that the kitchen is the best possible training ground for amateur knife-throwing acts, then please kindly refrain from ever contacting us. We are seeking one such that has drive and determination and wishes to progress in their vocation toward becoming a superstar head chef.
