About Us:
Inverlonan is a small, forward-thinking business on the west coast of Scotland comprising 2 farms over 1200 acres of hill, wood, loch, wildlife and Neolithic heritage. There are 2 luxury, ‘highland cool’ Bothies which have been well reviewed in Conde Nast Traveller, The Times, Elle etc. (@inverlonan, www.inverlonan.com). Emphasis is on luxury slow living, wild wellness and local produce. There is a strong food offering. There is a derelict farm steading to be developed into a hotel. There is a recently planted 220 acre broadleaf woodland with a strong emphasis on biodiversity. There is a Government-backed Agri-Environmental Scheme across the farms. There are c. 400 sheep and 30 cattle which produce meat for the Bothies. We are ambitious.
Job Description:
An experienced, personable ‘operations’ manager, with initiative and creativity, to implement and deliver the broader vision for Inverlonan.
Role to include:
(i) Overseeing and leading on the management of the Bothies.
(ii) Overseeing the addition of a third Bothy and floating sauna.
(iii) Developing and implementing additional revenue streams to the current hospitality offering (eg foodie weekends, wellness retreats, bakery, smokery etc).
(iv) Liaising with already identified commercial partners on the hotel development.
(v) Overseeing and developing the Inverlonan meat brand.
(vi) Overseeing and organizing the implementation of ecological works to be carried out across Inverlonan by a well-established international charitable organization.
(iv) Other Inverlonan business as directed.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Substantial operational experience.
- Personable, with initiative and creativity.
- Fully versed in Excel, P&L etc.
- Full driving License.
- Fluent spoken English.
- Good written English.
- Social Media savvy.
