A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Pastry Sous Chef to join the Pastry Brigade in the opening of the new Connaught Patisserie, due to open at the end of 2019.
Located on Mount Street, Londoners will be able to eat in or take away, offering a range of the Connaught’s most delicious pastries and treats.

As Pastry Sous Chef you will work with the Head Pastry Chef in the day to day running of the Connaught Patisserie, and ensuring delivery of exceptional quality and consistency.
You will assist the Head Pastry Chef to lead the Pastry brigade for this department and ensure quality standards are achieved and will have a key role in training and developing the team. You will lead in managing the operation, including stock control, budgetary management and health and safety.
As Pastry Sous Chef you will be an excellent team player with a hands-on and organised approach to your role, passionate about your team and working in a leading hotel operation.
You must be able to develop your team’s creative style, while building a stimulating and exciting environment within the department. With this in mind, you will have previous solid experience at a similar level and have proven experience within a quality hotel and/or restaurant Pastry team.
