Wine Bar Manager
We are looking for a wine focused Assistant / General Manager to manage a new wine bar, Bar Levan which we are opening next door to Levan. We will serve natural wines from across Europe, an extensive apéritif list — including a “specialist” mezcal selection — and various snacks and small plates. The 34-cover venue, inspired by the classic Parisian spots Aux Deux Amis and Septime La Cave, will open on November 23.
We’re looking for a Wine Bar Manager to support the directors and Levan management team in the running of the intimate wine bar. Passion and knowledge of natural wine is a fundamental requirement for the role as is an unbridled joy in sharing your love of wine with guests and colleagues alike.
You’ll be working in an exciting restaurant surrounded by talented and passionate people. Working with the directors to curate the wine list and choose the wines you want to open by the glass on a daily basis. Expand your wine knowledge attending trade tastings with the team and organise in-house tastings.
During service, you’ll be involved in serving wine and bar food, picking the daily wine specials, preparing simple bar food, choosing the play list and creating a fun and exciting place for customers to return to time and again.
Salary: From £37,000
Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef
