Floor Supervisor (fast-track to management), Lahpet

Lahpet is one of London’s only restaurants to specialise in authentic Burmese cooking.

Aiming to shine a light on this relatively untapped cuisine, Lahpet has been popularising traditional Burmese cooking by presenting Londoners with regional specialties with a hint of refinement and contemporary flare.

Founders Dan & Chef Zaw both have Burmese heritage and are the driving forces behind the concept which was cultivated and received critical acclaim in its Hackney warehouse location in London Fields during 2017 before anchoring in Shoreditch with their first permanent site the following year.

Requirements:

• At least two years experience in front of house service gained in a busy restaurant environment
• Hard working and professional
  Passionate about food and drink with an understanding of wine, craft beers and spirits
• Friendly, approachable and can keep a cool head under pressure whilst presenting well
• Experience of managing a reservations platform and meeting and greeting customers
• An interest, understanding and passion for South East Asian cooking would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
