Sous Chef & Restaurant Manager Roles, Kolamba
Kolamba is looking to grow our existing team for our restaurant on Kingly Street, Soho. Everything we do comes back to our family ethos, from our home inspired dishes to the way we treat our customers. Big flavours from a small island.
We are looking for both a Sous Chef & Restaurant Manager with the following:

Our Sous Chef will be…
● Interest or experience in Asian food, with great attention to detail and a passion for cooking
● Able to work in a fast-paced environment, serving anywhere up to 250 covers a day
● Be responsible for stock control of all food, including counting and managing invoices
● Support in the management and training of the kitchen team
● Be capable of managing the food orders, ensuring we do not over order yet never running out of items
● Manage the relationship and deliveries between the restaurant and production kitchen
● Communicate with team members and management on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
● Ensure the kitchen is compliant in all areas of health and food safety and that all due diligence is complete

- Oversea the smooth running of the restaurant in all areas
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, serving anywhere up to 250 covers a day
- Be responsible for all areas of stock control of beverage and consumables
- Manage and train the team to provide excellent service
- Create a positive work environment for your team
- Ensure guest satisfaction and strive for positive reviews
- Be able to communicate with both guests and team members, ensuring a smooth operation and resolving any challenges calmly and effectively
- Ensure the restaurant is compliant in all areas of health and food safety and that all due diligence is complete
