Job Description:
As a Sous Chef at the Landseer arms, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to prepare and deliver high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Run the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and presentation.
Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed.
Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen and the pub.
Assist with stock takes in the absence of the Head Chef.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of cooking techniques and various cuisines.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
