Sorrel is award-winning chef patron Steve Drake’s new modern fine dining restaurant nestled in the Surrey Hills. Inspired by simplicity, discovery and the ingredients themselves, the menu constantly evolves to follow and reflect the seasons.
At Sorrel, Steve has created an open kitchen philosophy where ideas, the creative process and the cooking is shared with guests and with talented young chefs. The restaurant is open four days a week, providing the team with time to explore their creativity, discovery of flavours, and techniques. Conveniently located in Dorking town centre, less than an hour by train from central London.
The role requires the successful candidate to run a section within the restaurant and be able to look after the guests in all aspects.
The ideal candidate will have worked at a minimum of 2 AA Rosette standard and preferably, Michelin star level. Good communication skills and used to working in a busy environment, with excellent attention for detail.
