Recruiting now, this is a fantastic opportunity for passionate and talented chefs to be part of the recently opened Parker’s Tavern and to help continue to shape it as the ‘go to’ destination in Cambridge.


We currently have spaces for a Sous Chef, Chef de Partie & a Pastry Sous Chef but would love to hear from anybody enthusiastic for a new opportunity in thriving Cambridge.





Parker’s Tavern is a high end, quintessentially British restaurant & bar recently opened by award winning local chef- restaurateur Tristan Welch, within the iconic University Arms in the centre of Cambridge.


The Martin Brudnizki designed restaurant delivers a warm, inviting and delicious taste of Cambridge with an ever-changing menu and many unique quirks. What does not change is our dedication to an immaculate and personal service for our guests.


The restaurant is buzzing from morning til night but we value work-life balance which is why we offer straight shifts of 42.5 hours per week with two consecutive days off.

Working under Tristan’s stewardship will help develop your technical skills as well as your creativity.



You will be part of a brigade that is large enough for you to test yourself, but that will still feel like a tight-knit team. You will also be working in a stunning venue including brand new kitchens & equipment.
