Smoking Goat is a Thai Barbecue bar inspired by the late night canteens of Bangkok. An open kitchen restaurant with a short, regularly changing menu and a growing collection of vinyl records on the back bar. We like to work in a friendly, fast paced environment where research, creativity and new ideas are encouraged from everyone.
New dishes are briefed daily and each service we focus on a different wine. The team benefits from visits to our suppliers in Cornwall and Somerset and research trips around the regions of Thailand. Since opening, Smoking Goat has gathered numerous accolades including number 2 restaurant in London by Timeout and being voted one of the best casual restaurants in the Foodism 100.
We have developed numerous wait team into managers, KPs into commis chefs and GMs into partners and are looking to continue this policy. A background in Thai food is absolutely not necessary… we’ll teach you that!
The Ideal Candidate is creative, hardworking, talented, and looking to be a part of a team. Experience in restaurants would be ideal but knowledge of Thai food is not necessary.
