Grind is a hospitality company that lives in London. Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand has expanded across London with restaurants and café-bars, burning the candle at both ends to serve coffee, food and cocktails to a killer soundtrack. As well as a state-of-the-art recording studio, we have a coffee roastery in Grind HQ in Shoreditch.
2018 was a big year for us. We closed out 2017 with a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign, raising £2m in under a week to continue our expansion - and in 2018 we did. Most recently, we opened Liverpool Street Grind in Broadgate Circle, a runaway success, signed a franchise deal to open in travel locations, and launched our Grind at Home collection online. 2019 has already been phenomenal and we would love you to be a part of what is set to be another Grind-breaking year!
We are on the lookout for the next generation of managers to join the Grind crew. You will be able to confidently lead and develop a team, implement a strong working ethos between FoH & BoH and drive sales through the training and delivery of GRIND Steps of Service. The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee, seasonal food, cocktails and always the best service.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for exciting people with at least 2 years of experience in restaurant management (AM/AGM/GM), strong experience of leading from the front and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty! You will have had experience in training FoH Service to ensure that the delivery of service is in line with guidelines at all times. Exposure to generating rotas, analysing P&Ls, and ensuring business KPI targets are met will be apart of your daily duties.
