Gunpowder is a home-style Indian kitchen, first opened in November 2015 at White’s Row, Spitalfields, with a second restaurant following in 2018 in Tower Bridge. The short menu takes influence from family recipes collected by Founder Harneet Baweja and Head Chef, Nirmal Save, with the menu recreating the vibrant flavour and confident spicing that both love about home-cooked Indian food.
As our Marketing, Sales & Events Manager you will work closely with our founder to develop and execute strategy to increase the reach and impact of our restaurants through various methods including social media, communications, events management and marketing.This all encompassing role means you will be one step ahead of the latest trends in restaurants, food and drink with ideally with an existing book of contacts to build from. We are also on the lookout for a enthusiastic, bright Operations Manager with awareness and understanding of financial controls who loves the hospitality scene and lives and breathes the industry. They will be responsible for coaching and developing as well as pushing sales and performance of each restaurant.
The Ideal Candidate:
Will be passionate and hard-working, ideally with 1-2 years working in a comparable role. Someone who loves restaurants, eating out and food in general as much as we do!
