Bar Manager, Lahpet West End
Lahpet is one of London’s only restaurants to specialise in authentic Burmese cooking.
Aiming to shine a light on this relatively untapped cuisine, Lahpet has been popularising traditional Burmese cooking by presenting Londoners with Burmese staple dishes and regional specialities with a hint of refinement and contemporary flare.
Our bars are at the core of our front of house spaces, and as such, our drinks offering is hugely important. Our drinks menu offers a creative and exciting range of exciting South East Asian inspired cocktails, and we’ve also recently created a range of fermented drinks and kombuchas. Everything is produced in-house.
Requirements:
- Hard working and professional with a minimum 4 year’s experience of managing a busy bar
- Demonstrable experience of ordering of all bar related products, stock control, optimising GP and labour control within a high volume bar operation
Strong awareness of health & safety, licensing and compliance - A passion for creating new cocktails and developing new drink offerings
- Friendly, approachable and can keep a cool head under pressure, whilst presenting well
- An interest, understanding and passion for South East Asian flavors and ingredients would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
