West London here we come…The Hoxton is opening in Shepherd’s Bush!

East, central and south of the river – we’ve got it covered, but we couldn’t resist setting up a new home in West London. In November 2022 we’ll be opening our fourth London Hoxton in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush and we’re looking for a Head Chef to bring our brand to life in our newest postcode.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director of The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush and with a dotted line to the VP Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for the managing of all kitchen teams and back of house F&B spaces, as well as menu development with the support of our creative team while driving the business to achieve the budgeted KPI’s.

The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush will have 237 bedrooms of different sizes, a new restaurant concept and terrace, our Hox lobby bar and terrace and The Apartment (our unique meetings & events space).

What you’ll do…

  • Lead a large, dynamic kitchen team in what is set to be one of the most exciting restaurants in London
  • Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. You’ll lead your team by example, keeping them involved and motivated; helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top Hox experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions
  • Have a firm grip on the costs of the restaurant kitchen, from labour through to always striving to find efficient solutions whilst maintaining the quality and integrity of the menu
  • Drive innovation and create a culture of menu development

What we’re looking for…

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar Head Chef role in a busy, bustling environment with freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority
  • Proven track record managing large kitchen teams
  • A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu
  • A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self
  • Individuals. You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
  • Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night
  • You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
