Since opening in 2009, head chef Mark Kempson has been steering a steady ship at Kitchen W8 with the help of co-owners, and hospitality legends, Phil Howard and Rebecca Mascarenhas. It was awarded a star in 2011 and has kept firm hold of it ever since for exceptional cooking and warm, personal hospitality. Seasonality isn’t just a buzzword here – it’s front and centre to the menus that evolve to feature produce that’s in its prime. If you’re a local, you’re lucky but make no mistake, this is the definition of a destination restaurant.

On their industry offer…

GM and sommelier Charlotte Prescot says “Mark and I wanted to share Kitchen W8 with our peers. In the decade we’ve been open, we’ve developed a great local crowd but wanted to have some more industry regulars too. We know how valuable it is to visit other restaurants, not just for the escapism or hedonism, but also to inform what we do in our own restaurants. Given how hard things have been for the industry, we want to give something back to our community.”
