St Patrick’s Day celebrations needn’t be much more than a pint of Guinness or three in your local pub. But if you fancy painting the town green, there are plenty of London bars and restaurants where you can do so. Here’s what our CODE partners have lined up.
This legendary, Irish-founded Mayfair spot is marking St Patrick’s Day with entertainment and a £95 feast of Irish produce including oysters and Dublin Bay prawns on March 17.
Irish chef Richard Corrigan’s Shoreditch outpost is running a week of specials from 9-17 March including ham, buttered potatoes, and parsley sauce. Free oysters with your Guinness on the day itself.
The St Patrick’s Day menu runs from 10-18 March, with dishes including Guinness-braised ox cheek, poached oyster and colcannon.
Two oysters and an Irish whisky at £25 (or £40 for two people). Other dishes followed by Irish comfort food like shepherd’s pie and chocolate Guinness cake.
Get ready for a day of Irish coffees, live music, and Guinness on 17 March. An oyster shucker will be in the house from 5-8pm.
Albert’s Schloss Soho is making a month of it with special edition cocktails, live entertainment, and Irish comfort food on the menu until 29 March. Themed brunch and Kunst Kabaret on 17 March.
This cosy Belgravia pub and Basque restaurant is doing Guinness and Irish oysters all week plus an ibérico pork special with a Guinness glaze.
