Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global and Lore Group, owner of Sea Containers London, are teaming up to launch a landmark riverside dining destination on London’s South Bank this autumn. Named Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers, the venue will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a new look dining room and outdoor terrace overlooking the River Thames and city skyline. The partnership strengthens Sea Containers London’s position as a leading culinary and cultural destination, joining existing attractions including Ryan Chetiyawardana’s Lyaness, the 12th Knot rooftop bar and Curzon Sea Containers Cinema.

VERiFAIR is a new independent body founded by Justine Murphy to introduce a new verified benchmark for responsible workplace practices in the hospitality industry. Among the first to be VERiFAIR-verified: Ynyshir, Teal by Sally Abé, Humble Chicken and Dorian.
What’s cooking at Appalachia, the new High Country-inspired restaurant led by Alistair Borer (ex-Smoking Goat) and taking over from Counter 71 in Shoreditch in June? The likes of pork chop with collard greens, grilled poussin with grits, and country-fried rabbit.
Dante and Claridge’s are making it official. Dante, a world-class bar and restaurant and bona fide New York institution, has been in residence at Claridge’s since last summer. From mid-June, the pop-up goes permanent, becoming Dante Mayfair. Garibaldis all round!
