Published 2 April 2020

While we all find ourselves with a bit more time on our hands, we’re encouraging our members and the wider hospitality community to learn a new skill, perhaps brush up their knowledge or simply enjoy taking the opportunity to read more about the various elements of our industry now the pace of life has slowed.

Wine writer Jancis Robinson – who features in our 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality this year – is not only one of the most prolific wine journalists in the world but through her Purple Pages offers over 200,000 tasting notes from seven Masters of Wine and local experts all over the wine world, 10,000 wine-related articles, the most up-to-date digital version of the Oxford Companion to Wine, all the maps from The World Atlas of Wine and an informative members’ forum.

All hospitality professionals can now access Purple Pages (normally £8.50 a month) for free until end of May. Sign up here and also be in the chance to win six of Jancis’s handblown wine glasses.
