Christian Louboutin to design Claridge’s Christmas Tree

Published 30 October 2019

Following on from Diane von Furstenberg in 2018, London hotel Claridge’s has announced that this year its Christmas tree will be designed by designer Christian Louboutin. A long time guest and friend of the hotel, Louboutin’s tree will mark the tenth year Claridge’s has asked one of its guests to design their tree.

The Claridge’s Christmas tree signifies the beginning of the festive season in London. Co-owner Paddy McKillen said he is, “delighted to have Christian bring his festive magic to the hotel.”

Speaking about the collaboration Louboutin commented, “I have been a long time guest of Claridge’s and consider it my second home when in London. It is an honour to be invited to design the Claridge’s Christmas tree which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Claridge’s is one of the most magical destinations with the tree being one of the city’s highlights at Christmas. I am glad to bring a little piece of Paris to such an iconic London landmark.’

The Christmas tree will be revealed on Thursday 21 November with Louboutin himself doing the honours.
