Hide launches ‘The Hidden Supper Club’

Published 4 August 2020

Popular London restaurant Hide has announced the addition of ‘The Hidden Supper Club’ – a bookable dinner experience led by head chef James Goodyear.

Having received a Michelin star six months after opening, the supper club will offer a value led Michelin experience. Taking place on the last Sunday of every month, The Hidden Supper Club begins on the 30 August.

The supper club takes place in Hide Above, with views overlooking Green Park and the streets of Mayfair. A feature kitchen also gives guests an opportunity to watch the chefs at work.

The pop-up style menu will feature experimental dishes not currently on the regular a la carte and tasting menu at Hide. The ten courses will change on a monthly basis, featuring dishes such as cucumbers marinated in juniper with green almonds and a warm crab custard with smoked butter and summer peas. Desserts include blue oolong parfait with wild blueberries and rhubarb root.

The wine list is curated by Hedonism, with guests able to pre-book a bottle from the shop’s extensive selection when reserving a table, or order while dining in the restaurant itself. With nearly 7,000 lines available, wines will be on offer at Hedonism Wines shelf price plus £10 per bottle.

The Hidden Supper Club menu costs £95 per person and is available alongside Hide’s regular a la carte and tasting menu options. Wine pairing is an additional £55 per person.
