Latest round of Rosette Award winners are announced

At a time when we need to celebrate and support our wonderful hospitality industry more than ever, it feels like AA’s announcement of its new Rosette recipients has come at a good time. The awards aim to celebrate the highest quality restaurants across the country, with four British restaurants awarded the maximum four AA Rosettes.

The Ritz Restaurant and Tom Aiken’s new opening Muse from London were among them, alongside The Latymer in Surrey and Jersey’s Ocean restaurant at The Atlantic Hotel. Meanwhile, it’s good to see a record-high number of restaurants – including Frenchie Covent Garden, HIDE Above and Manchester’s Where The Lights Gets in – receiving three Rosettes, awarded to restaurants “achieving standards that demand national recognition beyond their local area.”

“This has been an immensely difficult year for the hospitality industry, and yet restaurants across the country have continued to provide incredible dining experiences to the public despite these considerable challenges” says managing director at AA Media Simon Numphud. “The dedication and hard work of the teams behind these establishments is inspiring, and we are pleased to be able to celebrate them with the announcement of these AA Rosettes.”

The awards are a good reminder of the immense talent within the industry during an incredibly challenging year. At CODE, we think they serve as a good reminder to celebrate and support all hospitality businesses – regardless of awards – at a time when it needs it most.
