The opening of the St Clement, Nick Jones’ first new hotel since stepping away from Soho House in 2022, is now well underway. The hotel, located at 180 The Thames, will not be fully open until September, but Café Clement, an all-day café, bar and terrace at street level, launches in mid-June. Led by Danny Bohan, former head chef at The River Cafe, Café Clement will open daily from 7am to 11pm, serving a Mediterranean menu that includes Dorset Coast bourride, vichyssoise, steak haché with garlic butter and French fries, and San Marzano tomato risotto with rosemary and Vermentino. All eyes are on the 90-room, 15-suite hotel, with the Financial Times declaring it “absurdly cool”. Lunette, a rooftop restaurant from Florence Knight, follows in September.

Andrew Wong is opening Kong, an East End pub with a Chinese kitchen, at Norton Folgate in Shoreditch with Dishoom co-founder Amar Radia this autumn. Kong, which takes over a historic pub dating back to 1792, promises dumplings, noodles, and pints.
Paul and Emma Ainsworth relaunch St Enodoc, their landmark property overlooking the Camel Estuary, on 27 July. They’ll add two new restaurants: Estuary Grill, a showcase for Cornish produce, and The Flour Garden, an outdoor restaurant, to open seasonally.
The Crown Estate has signed a new all-day Italian restaurant from Fortune Family, owners of Michelin-starred Lita in Marylebone. Salone will open on Vigo Street in Mayfair in autumn 2026. Chef Luca Natalini of Autem in Milan has been appointed executive chef.
