Lockdown is a time during which many staff struggle, so we’re pleased to share the news that Speciality Drinks, in partnership with spirits distributor Edrington-Beam Suntory, is once again offering a wellbeing package for workers in the drinks area of hospitality.

In yet another extreme act of kindness from those in hospitality, the team will deliver 2,000 more free packs containing food and store-cupboard essentials during this second lockdown. This follows the distribution of 4500 already this year, a very welcome helping hand to those in need.

“Covid-19 has left people vulnerable in our industry – an industry that has supported us as we’ve grown as a company” says co-founder of Speciality drinks Rajbir Singh. “We see those working for licensed businesses as part of our family and we want them to know that they are not alone, and that we will do as much as we can to help them take care of themselves and their families.”

Sales director Jen Baernreuther adds “with our industry temporarily shut down for a second time it feels like a very uncertain time for everyone, and we’ve chosen the contents of the packs to lend a little support to those who need it, helping them to stay stocked up on essentials during this time.”

If you work in the drinks and industry and would like to apply for a pack, you can do so here. You’re welcome to apply again even if you’ve already received one this year.
