Junior Sous Chef, Khao-Sō-i

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in food production, ensuring that high standards of quality and presentation are maintained while supporting the Head Chef in daily operations.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Participate in menu planning, including the creation of new dishes and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. - Oversee food prep and service to ensure consistency and quality
Train new staff on kitchen procedures and food safety
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing team members.
- Previous experience in culinary roles, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
