About Us
Moro is owned by Sam and Sam Clark and has been a stalwart of the London restaurant scene since 1997. It is highly regarded for bringing the Moorish flavours of Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean to London. The seasonal menu changes every 3 weeks, which encompasses new creative dishes alongside Moro classics. We bake sourdough daily in our wood oven, make yoghurt daily and grill over charcoal to give the food its distinctive flavour. Both the Foh and Kitchen teams are part of a wonderful family which is friendly, supportive and hard-working.
Job Description
Moro is offering a full time role for an Assistant General Manager.
We are looking for a responsible individual with a hands on, positive attitude that thrives off managing busy shifts. They will be working opposite the GM, so they must be capable of overseeing and supporting the floor team and have scrupulous attention to detail, as well as have a strong passion for food and wine. Also supporting the GM with daily administrative duties.
The Ideal Candidate:
– Has at least 4 years of working experience in F&B environment and at least 2 years hands on experience as an Assistant General Manager or Senior Floor manager, though we will be happy to interview all keen candidates.
– Must be knowledgeable and passionate about food, wine and the restaurant industry and be able to transfer their enthusiasm on to the team.
– Has a high attention to detail, assisting in ensuring quality, consistency and high standards.
– Has the skills and experience necessary to effectively help train and manage teams
– Must be eligible to work in the UK
