Bartender, Flip Dog Bar
We are looking for a friendly and professional Bartender to join our bar team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those with a keen interest in the food and beverage industry.
About Flip Dog Bar
FlipDog is a contemporary, two-level cocktail bar set to open in the heart of Old Street in March 2026. Founded by industry visionaries Artem Skapenko and Alex Kosteniuk, the venue champions a method-driven approach to modern cocktail culture, where technique leads and flavour follows. Every detail is designed to celebrate precision, creativity and the art of craft.
The venue is structured around two distinct experiences: at street level is an intimate 20-seat space inspired by the dynamic nature of pop-up installations, creating an environment and experience that can constantly evolve over time and through collaboration. Beneath, an 80-seat lower level offers a more refined setting, quiet, composed, and focused on technique-led drinks and considered service. The interior is crafted by YOD Group, the award-winning Kyiv-based studio renowned for creating spaces that balance creativity with precision.
The team brings a combination of global experience and shared cultural heritage to the project. Artem Skapenko is a IBA World Champion and concept creator and Alex Kosteniuk, an international judge and consultant. Joining the team as Head Bartender is Igor Brovko who has over a decade of hospitality experience, including at the world-renowned bar Tayēr + Elementary.
Each drink is built on method, with the most visually impactful being the colonial-era Loggerhead, a forgotten ritual, revised with intention, in which an iron poker heated to 1200°C is plunged into a cocktail to caramelise sugars, modify texture and intensify flavour with a dramatic flourish.
Flip Dog Bar offers an internal growth system, allowing team members to develop both within the London project and across the brand’s international bar projects. We support career progression from operational roles to leadership positions and involvement in new openings. Flip Dog Bar is a place for long-term growth and an international career.
