Chef de Partie, Mambow
We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Chef de Partie to join our team. A team player who would excel in a small team with a family feel. Someone who is passionate about food (especially if for Southeast Asian cuisine!) and keen to learn in a supportive fast paced environment.
Mambow is a modern Malaysian restaurant in Clapton. Showcasing the complexity and regional nuances of Malaysian cuisine, Mambow explores beyond the buzzwords commonly associated with it. Honouring Abby Lee’s Chinese Malaysian heritage, the dishes are rooted in tradition but translated through a contemporary perspective, using the finest British and Malaysian ingredients.
With a small menu, we’ll be able to develop together changing the menu seasonally, and creating specials. It will always be fresh and exciting, and we can challenge ourselves.
Benefits:
– Career development opportunities
– Access to a wellness scheme
– Approx. 40 hours a week. Always having two-three days off per week.
– Quality staff meals provided
– Working with driven friendly individuals who make up a fantastic team
Job requirements
At least 2 years experience – previous experience as a chef
Ability to maintain a high standard of Kitchen Hygiene / Food and Safety
Keen on seeking out new opportunities as we grow the business
Willingness to learn and strive in an exciting kitchen environment
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely as part of a small team
Be friendly & reliable
